Redesigning M-Tix for Better Usability:

Poor UX experience, inability to withdraw remaining balance, and difficulty accessing purchased tickets. The booking flow felt slow, payment methods were perceived as complicated, and the overall journey lacked clarity. For users who simply wanted a fast, queue-free way to secure tickets, the experience created friction instead of convenience. Through structured UX evaluation, the focus shifted to understanding real user needs—speed, transparency, and ease of transaction. Ticket booking should feel seamless, not procedural. Accessing tickets and managing funds should be intuitive, not confusing. The redesign aimed to simplify flows, clarify payment steps, and improve accessibility to essential features. To validate these insights, user research was conducted through surveys and targeted respondents within defined age criteria. Research and collaboration tools such as Discord, WhatsApp, Miro, Zoom, and Google Forms were used to gather qualitative and quantitative data. The process ensured that every design decision was grounded in real feedback—transforming pain points into a streamlined, user-centered solution.

Building a Scalable Design System for XXI:

The redesigned system for Cinema XXI was built to create clarity, consistency, and flexibility across the entire M-Tix experience. Instead of fragmented components and inconsistent patterns, the new system establishes structured foundations—grid, typography, spacing, color, and components—that work cohesively at every touchpoint. This design system isn’t just a UI kit; it’s a scalable framework. Each component was designed to be reusable, adaptive, and aligned with real user behavior. From ticket selection to payment flow, every interaction follows a clear hierarchy and predictable pattern, reducing friction while improving usability. The result is a cleaner, more intuitive interface that strengthens brand identity and streamlines development—ensuring the product not only looks better, but works better at scale.

Final Outcome

The redesigned M-Tix experience for Cinema XXI transforms user pain points into a structured, seamless journey. By grounding decisions in user research and reinforcing them with a scalable design system, the solution improves clarity, simplifies transactions, and restores trust in the booking process. More than a visual refresh, this redesign establishes a stronger foundation—where usability, consistency, and brand identity work together. The result is a faster, more intuitive, and reliable digital experience built to scale and evolve with user needs.
